On December 15, 2010 the Association “Latvian Internet Association” and v/a “Latvian Investment and Development Agency” have signed the contract No. L-APA-10-0024.

Within ERDF project No. APV/2.1.2.4.0/14/04/126 at SIA “Smiltene Impex” the first saw logs have been sawn with the new sawing line technology and launched a full-cycle production for testing the technological equipment and for setting a synchronous operation, the staff training to work with the technological sawing line has been started.

On 9 April 2013, Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) made a decision No.9.6-1.3/2735SF to grant payment of the project “Purchase of the Electronic3D Measuring Equipment and Introduction of the Automated Stocktaking System at SIA “Smiltene Impex” for the Start-up of the New Product Manufacturing” co-financing.

On 1 March 2012, SIA “Smiltene Impex” signed an agreement with the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia regarding implementation of the project No.JPR/2.1.2.2.2/11/02/114 “Purchase of the Electronic 3D Measuring Equipment and Introduction of the Automated Stocktaking System at SIA “Smiltene Impex” for the Start-up of the New Product Manufacturing” supported by the ERDF under the programme “Entrepreneurship and Innovations”.

On 9 November 2011 SIA “Smiltene Impex” and “KP Logix,LTD” signed a handing over protocol which completed implementation of the WOODMART automated production and stocktaking programme.

On 20 July 2011 an independent, accredited timber measurement expert SIA”VMF Latvia” tested the recently installed round timber electronicmeasurement equipment Jörg Elektronik Joro-3D-lin in operation and checked itscompliance with LVS 82:2003, which was recognized as appropriate.
On 1 August 2011 SIA “Smiltene Impex” and “Jörg Elektronik GmbH” signed a handing over protocol and the equipment was put in to service.

On 9 June 2011 SIA “Smiltene Impex” signed an agreement with”Jörg Elektronik GmbH” and “Baltika Holzindustrie GmbH”regarding supply of the “Round Timber Electronic Measurement Equipment andAutomated Management Systems with Software for the Technological Machinery”within the project No.JPR/2.1.2.2.2/11/02/114.
On 10 June 2011 SIA “Smiltene Impex” signed an agreement with”KP Logix, LTD” regarding supply of the “Licences for theAutomated Production and Stocktaking System Programme” within the projectNo.JPR/2.1.2.2.2/11/02/114.

On 7 March 2011, SIA “Smiltene Impex” (a subsidiary of SIA”Lameko Impex”) submitted a project bid “Purchase of the Electronic 3D Measuring Equipment and Introduction ofthe Automated Stocktaking System at SIA “Smiltene Impex” for theStart-up of the New Product Manufacturing” tothe Investment and DevelopmentAgency of Latvia to attract co-financing of the ERDF under the programme”Entrepreneurship and Innovations”.
The project was accepted and registered with the No.JPR/2.1.2.2.2/11/02/114.
