The primary mechanical processing mill operates a Holtec (German) automated round timber evaluation, debarking, measuring, cross-cutting and sorting line, where sawn timber is debarked, electronically measured and graded according to its quality and, after a metal detector check, it is automatically sorted according to quality, length and diameter on the small end.
